In this month’s edition of the ISEBTT Newsletter Peter Kramar and Damijan Miklavčič describe how they successfully organized this year’s Electroporation Based Technologies and Treatments (EBTT) postgraduate course and workshop held in November in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in its hybrid form.
They have come under the impression that hybrid can become a useful or even dominant form of meetings in the future, offering an opportunity, perhaps, to researchers from less privileged areas to join in. To be truly fulfilling however, hybrid meetings will still require the major proportion of participants to be present on-site. Also, organization of such meetings will require a sophisticated and intense on-site technical support.
