It is always disheartening to learn about the passing of a colleague and friend. Although it is inevitable that this happens, we always feel that death comes too early, and we wish for another opportunity to have a conversation with the deceased – even if it’s just a brief one. Unfortunately, this is not possible, as it is final. There will be no next time, no further opportunities. I vividly remember discussions with Jim Weaver, and I am grateful to Thiruvallur Gowrishankar and Mark R. Prausnitz for helping us remember him, undoubtedly a great person and researcher in the field of electroporation. Thank you, Jim, for your questions, thoughts, and contributions.

Also, the organisers of the 5th World Congress in Rome this year have the following announcement to disseminate. Please take note and inform your colleagues who may not be receiving the ISEBTT newsletter.
