As interest in electroporation—such as PEF and PFA treatment, ECT, IRE, and nsPEF—continues to grow, so does the need for deeper understanding and more experts in the field.
Educational initiatives like the school held earlier this year in Erice on Advances in Electroporation-Based Therapy are crucial. This event was highlighted in the August edition of the ISEBTT newsletter by two of its attendees, Amir Ghassabi and Pedro Santos.
Other upcoming events, such as the 10th PEF School organized this September in Salerno, Italy (more info), and the annual EBTT School this November in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2025.ebtt.org), are also warmly welcomed.
I strongly encourage all of you to spread the word about these opportunities for education and networking. Participation is open to everyone – not just students!
Let’s remember: we all still have much to learn about electroporation and its ever-expanding applications.
