Interest in electroporation-based treatments and therapies continues to grow worldwide.
In addition to the HRS Scientific Statement on pulsed field ablation, highlighted in the newsletter by Meleze Hocini and available at doi:10.1016/j.hrthm.2026.02.006, EHRA has also recently presented a scientific statement prepared in collaboration with ESC, the Heart Rhythm Society, the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society, the Latin American Heart Rhythm Society, and the Canadian Heart Rhythm Society. The May issue of the ISEBTT Newsletter includes a report by Felipe Maglietti on the Latin American meeting on electroporation in medicine. Although the meeting took place last November in Buenos Aires, its content remains highly relevant. The newsletter also includes links to recorded lectures delivered in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, depending on the lecturer’s preference. All recordings are now available with English subtitles.
