You may have noticed that the Bioelectrics Consortium organizes its meetings and symposia in conjunction with the World Congress on Electroporation. The Consortium was officially established in 2005.
In this month’s Newsletter, Guus Pemen and Richard Heller provide insights into the Bioelectrics Consortium and share details about the upcoming meeting in Eindhoven this September.
Following the 5th World Congress on Electroporation (5th WCE 2024) at Sapienza University of Rome, we launched a Special Issue in Bioelectricity titled “Recent Developments in Electroporation“.
This issue highlights congress research and advances in electroporation, including mechanisms, instrumentation, experimental studies, and applications in medicine, biotechnology, food processing, and industry.
We invite you to submit a manuscript based on your 5th WCE 2024 presentation or ongoing research. The submission deadline is 30th April, 2025, with accepted papers published online upon approval and compiled in the December 2025 issue.
