The 5th World Congress on Electroporation, the flagship ISEBTT congress held biennially. Co-chaired by Francesca Apollonio (Sapienza University of Rome) and Caterina Merla (ENEA, Italy).

The congress received over 350 abstracts from 30+ countries. The program featured 10+ plenary lectures, approximately 40 special and regular sessions, an Educational Session, an Industry Panel on Pulsed Field Ablation for cardiac ablation, a 3-Minute Thesis competition for PhD students, and the SENIOR2YS Meeting Corner.

The Justin Teissié Award was presented to Dr. Felipe Maglietti (Argentina). Twenty-two awards were given to students and young investigators, along with 35 travel grants from the Doreen J. Putrah Cancer Research Foundation.

New ISEBTT President Emanuela Signori assumed the presidency at the closing ceremony.
