10th School on Pulsed Electric Field Applications in Food and Biotechnology (PEF School 2025)

The 10th anniversary edition of the PEF School. Twenty-two participants from 7 countries and more than 20 international experts participated in an intensive week of lectures, roundtable discussions, flash presentations, and hands-on practical laboratory and pilot plant courses.

Topics covered: PEF fundamentals, food processing, microbial inactivation, food quality, sustainable food systems, biorefinery, ohmic heating, high-pressure processing, and legislative frameworks. Industrial perspectives from ELEA Technology GmbH, Vitave Tech, Scandinova, Opticept, and Frudist.
