DESCRIPTION:1st World Congress on Electroporation and Pulsed Electric Fields in Biology\, Medicine and Food & Environmental Technologies\nSeptember 6-10\, 2015\, Portoroz\, Slovenia \nOrganised by COST TD1104 Action \nWelcome to the first scientific congress dedicated to bringing together researchers and users of electroporation-based and related technologies from academic institutions and industry. This meeting presents an excellent opportunity to meet with people from different disciplines possessing diverse expertise\, who are involved in basic research or are developing applications based on electroporation and the use of pulsed electric fields of high intensity. The aim is to create an environment stimulating interdisciplinary interactions\, to present latest achievements and demonstrate current knowledge. \nTo this end\, the Congress will consist of plenary sessions given by invited lecturers\, poster-viewing sessions\, and parallel special sessions (up to 6 concurrent sessions) for the presentations linked to specific approaches or the groups participating in the WC2015. \nVisit https://wc2015.electroporation.net for more information.
